Most patients notice appetite suppression within the first two weeks of treatment. However, this is not the case for everyone. Our program is designed to steadily increase in dosage and thus adequately continue to suppress appetite. If you do not notice any changes after the first 10 weeks, please contact us!
That depends on how long you continue to use medicated weight-loss and diet! According to research, you can expect to lose 15% of your body weight on semaglutide and 20% of your body weight on tirzepatide over a a 72 week period.
As with any medication, there is a risk of side effects. Fortunately, none of the side effects of using weight-loss medication are dangerous or unmanageable. Some of the most common side effects include nausea, diarrhea, and constipation.
Following a diet that avoids 'problem' foods is key to avoiding GI-related side effects.
We would be happy to your transition over to TRYM! Whether its starting at your former dose, or moving you to a higher one. Please send us a message and we can assist you.
That entirely depends on if you've made progress on building a healthier lifestyle. Eating a balanced diet, exercising daily, and avoiding a sedentary day-to-day is key to maintaining a healthy body weight.
That being said, we're committed to helping you even after you've reached your goal. If deemed necessary, you can be put on a medicated 'maintenance' protocol to continue a program at a lower dose.
Standard Semaglutide and Tirzepatide medications are injectable only. So yes, you will have to inject them. Fortunately, the these injections are subcutaneous (meaning they do not go into the muscle). The needle used to inject these meds is very small and does not hurt at all. You shouldn't even bleed after an injection.
We include a set of syringes, alcohol pads, and instructions for using your medication.
Branded weight-loss medications are FDA approved for specific purposes (such as treating Type II Diabetes). As of April, 2024 there has been a nationwide shortage of GLP-1 medications. Prices for these medications are extremely high and insurance coverage is sparse.
Compounded medications like the one's that TRYM provides via our partnered pharmacies use the same main active ingredients as branded medications while at a substantially lower price. Compounded medications work - our customer testimonies and reviews shows that.
Both Semaglutide and Tirzepatide work by mimicking a naturally occuring hormone called GLP-1. This hormone works to suppress our appetite and gives us the 'full' feeling we experience after a heavy meal. GLP-1 agonists, like Tirzepatide and Semaglutide, work to extend appetite suppression by extending digestion and encouraging insulin secretion. This in turn helps eliminate food noise, diet, and ultimately lose weight with ease!
TRYM Health™ is a patient management and subscription platform that works with independent compounding pharmacies who provide services using TRYM’s Platform. TRYM Health does not directly provide medical or pharmacy services.
